Image Use Guide

Note: I Will Note Here That Gory Images Could Be Used, But If It Contains Too Much Gore, The Staff Might Force You To Take It Down And Will Suggest Images With Less Gore. Furthermore, Porn Images Are Absolutely Not Allowed On The Downrooms Wiki. Using These Kinds Of Images In Pages Will Result In A 3 Day Ban.

Overview:

• All Images Must Be Complicit With The Kinds Of Images In The "Can Be Used" Section With Some Exceptions.
• All images Must Be Attributed To Their Original Source.
• That's Basically It.

Can Be Used:

You Can Use An Image You Want, Even If Copyrighted, As Long As You Provide The Source Of The Image In The Author Collapsible.

Gory Images Could Be Acceptable, But If The Image Has Too Much Gore, The Staff Wil Ask You To Take It Down. They Will Also Suggest Alternate Images That Don't Have Too Much Gore.

Can't Be Used:

If You Don't Have The Source Or License For The Image You Picked, You Shouldn't Use It. Also, Whatever You Do, Absolutely Never Use Pornagraphy. If You Do, You Will Get A 3 Day Ban.

NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! Haha, I'm Just Messing With You, Let Me Explain. A "Greenlight" Is A Simple Term Used As A Go-Ahead For Posting. On This Site, It's Used So That I, Kyrenzane10, Can Give Permission To Users Looking To Post Their Articles On The Wiki!

What Do I Do To Get A Greenlight? 🤔

Greenlights Could Be Received From Me And Me Only. To Receive Greenlights, Follow These Simple Steps:

1. Create Your Sandbox Page
To Create A Sandbox Page, Head On Over To The Sandbox Site! Be Sure To Read Through The Rules Given On The Site To Help You Follow Them And Keep Your Sandboxes Organized.
2. Write Your Page
This Part's All Up To You! Take Your Idea And Flesh It Out! Just As Yourself, "Did I Read The Previous Guides?"
3. Submit It For Critique To Me
Head Into My Profile, Click "Write Private Message", Put In The Sandbox Link, And Send It To Me. After That, I Will Be Able To View Your Sandbox And Offer Critique So You Can Fix/Add To Your Article, And If I Find Your Article Ready To Be Posted, I'll Offer A Greenlight!

Greenlight Exemptions ❌

We Currently Have A System In Place That Allows Authors Who Have Already Shown That They Could Write Quality Work To Post Without Receiving A Greenlight.

This System Is The Same As On The Backrooms Wikidot. Go See It There!

What Will Happen If I Bypass The Greenlighting Process? 🤔

Remember. Greenlights Are Requirements, Not Suggestions. If You Coldpost An Article, It Will Be Deleted, Regardless Of If It's In The Deletion Range Or Not. The User Coldposting Will Receive A Message From Me (Kyrenzane10) Urging Them To Review This Page, Along With The Source Code Of Their Page So They May Receive Genuine Critique On The Article. If The User Proceeds Coldposting, They May Be Kicked From The Site If Not Banned.
